About the Journal

The Journal of Tropical Ethnobiology [P-ISSN 1693-6892 | E-ISSN 2722-0257] is published two times per year by the Ethnobiological Society of Indonesia in collaboration with Research Center for Ecology and Ethnobiology, National Research and Innovation Agency [BRIN], to promote the results of studies in ethnobiology internationally. The journal publishes critical reviews, original research papers, short communications, and notes and comments covering all aspects of ethnobiology. Manuscripts are judged based on their contributions to original data and ideas or interpretations. All articles are peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers in the field of the submitted paper. Manuscripts submitted must not have been published, accepted for publication, or be under consideration elsewhere. All papers are accepted to become the copyright of society.
